@laurita --- just in case you're looking for an excuse to go to Kingston...the Wolfe Island Music Festival is next weekend. Killer line-up, and pretty cheap ($65).

I would love to! but that's the weekend my show opens; got a show friday and saturday night! this theatre thing basically doesn't let you have a life.

haha - I just had a temper tantrum and now someone from the office is going to an internet cafe to email me documents at home so my work day is not a rightoff.  That was such a diva moment. (Back storey, I work from home and the server is down so I can't access any of the reports that are down today).

I totally thought of a couple great mondegreens while biking the other day and now I can't remember them for the life of me! Damnit. I do my best thinking on a bike, to be honest with you.

I can't see how that bananas line could be anything else!

@laurita --- ha! I've been to Moe's. But, it's generally on the wrong side of town for me...I tend to hang in the Plateau when I'm there (Verres sterilises on Rachel, Dieu du Ciel, Chez Baptiste on Mont-Royal...). We do La Banquise for our hangover prevention/drunken poutine...

@ Centro: well then! I'm in the west, in a part of the city called NDG (notre dame de grace)...more low-key (read: low rent) and young, often newly immigrated families mixed in with the students. Much less hip, maybe, but I think that's what i love about it.

but La Banquiste is feckin' awesome, dude. mostly for the reason you described, but for all reasons haha. also ALSO if you want a brew pub, try Brutopia sometime! I play at the open mic night on sundays!

R3 toblogganist Caspianette heard a line in More Or Les' 'Busted Gear' that upset her a bit, " That Tupac on your shirt looks like an Asian trannie". I thought the line was "Asian grannie".

"Scottish lovers can't be friends"? Seriously? I don't see any way it could be heard that way, but OK.

Shocking Blue does have way more up on Banarama in terms of looks, style, sound and class however.

I don't hear 'buzz in my fudge' at all, but these were all posted on the blog and in the Funclub. Sometimes the more out there they are the funnier.
