This could be quite the week for Edmonton's Cadence Weapon (known to his mother as Rollie Pemberton). His song "Conditioning" sits atop our indie music chart The R3-30 and tomorrow he finds out if his record Hope In Dirt City makes it onto the Polaris Music Prize short list.
