Yesterday, in the third match up of our tournament of guitar riffs, the Guess Who's Canadian classic "American Woman" was just barely beaten out by guitar master Eric Clapton's work on Derek & the Dominos' "Layla".
Today we have a battle of the Brits featuring a dark and sultry riff courtesy of guitar legend Jimmy Page versus Mark Knopfler's infectious yet controversial '80s anthem.

Squaring off today is Led Zeppelin's 1971 monster track "Black Dog" up against Dire Straits' 1985 sleeper hit "Money For Nothing." Both tracks are quite definitive to their time; both tracks contain riffs that stand the test of time. Who will advance? It's entirely up to you!
