F1 drivers loose 2-3 liters of water during a race distance.  It takes incredible concentration and physical condition.

Watch Richard Hammond try to just keep an F1 car on the track for a couple of laps.

Oh yeah, a sport in my books.

@BFO - #28 - That Top Gear episode was an eye opener for me.  I obviously knew the drivers are skilled, but seeing that really made me think about how much skill it actually takes.  Hammond was on a track by himself, for a couple of laps...not with 20 odd other cars for 60+ laps.

Grant had the same songs on almost all of his beer o clocks and there has already been a lot of overlap. I think the key is to just dig deep and put things you think are fun on it, nevermind what you think the hits are.

It seems to have become a trend since my round of beer o clock to include the song Grant Lawrence by The Hextalls as a tribute to our once upon a time leader.

There are also no rules against the rap music being admitted to beer o clock although in all honesty, i thought about adding some to my playlist and opted out due to the association of rock and roll and beer in my mind. Now, if it was Courvassier O'Clock, my playlist may have included some hip hop.

I have an old(er) HTC running 7.8.

it's worked fine, except for being a bit heavy.

I'm surprised it's slow. MS has worked hard at specs for h/w and design so windows phones will run faster on less power than android.

Abe,

the ATIV-S? I was looking at one of those and a friend told me I shouldn't because he has a friend who's had no end of problems. Of course, he's also an Android guy, so there's that...

with SaskTel the only Windows phone is the ATIV. which is a shame because, for the same price as the other expensive plans elsewhere, you can get unlimited data.

don't know what I'd do with unlimited data, but I could say I have it

@JonDixon - The shirt was mostly referring to the fact that not everyone who lives in Ottawa works for the public service, so it was more apropos when I was living there... but I like to think it's still kinda relevant! Technically, CBC is a crown corporation, just like VIA Rail or the Bank of Canada, but there's the whole "operating at arm's length" thing, right?

@krib - Thanks! That was fun, those.. 2 years ago now? The Golden Triangle is the name of a little area on the east side of the Centretown neighbourhood in downtown Ottawa, nestled between Elgin Street and the Rideau Canal. Loved living there for just under three years. The triangles also kinda refer to the glass of the convention centre that was still pretty new then, just a little further north down the canal.

The Maman's Snack refers to the big spider sculpture outside the National Art Gallery!
