We'd like to take a moment to wish a very happy 52nd birthday to singer, songwriter, humanitarian, businessman and Facebook investor Paul Hewson--better known as Bono. He was born and raised in Dublin and found refuge in music after losing his mother at 14-years-old. Along with classmates Larry Mullen Jr., Adam Clayton and David "The Edge" Evans, they formed the band Feedback, which became The Hype and eventually: U2. Several years later, they dropped 'Boy' on October 20, 1980, the track that started it all. To celebrate, George picked his favourite track from each U2 album. And here they are, in order of release. Happy birthday, Bono:

'Out Of Control' from 1980's 'Boy'

'I Fall Down' from 1981's 'October'

'Like A Song' from 1983's 'War'

'Bad' from 1984's 'The Unforgettable Fire'

'Running To Stand Still' from 1987's 'The Joshua Tree'

'Heartland' from 1988's 'Rattle and Hum'

'Tryin' To Throw Your Arms Around The World' from 1991's 'Achtung Baby' '

The Wanderer' from 1993's 'Zooropa'

'Staring At The Sun' from 1997's 'Pop'

'Kite' from 2000's 'All That You Can't Leave Behind'

'Yahweh' from 2004's 'How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb'

'Cedars of Lebanon' from 2009's 'No Line On The Horizon'
