Country superstar Carrie Underwood has announced that she is pregnant with her first baby, but she didn't do it with a plain "We're happy to announce" press release. Instead, the multi-platinum singer tweeted a photo of her two dogs, one of them wearing a shirt that reads, "I'm going to be a big brother" and the other wearing a top that reads, "I'm going to be a big sister."
In the caption, Underwood wrote, "In honor of 'Labor' Day...Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn't be happier!"
The 31-year-old singer is married to 34-year-old NHL player Mike Fisher, who is expected to miss the first part of the hockey season with a ruptured Achilles tendon, and joked on Twitter that, whether the baby is a boy or a girl, he expects it will be named "Fly."
Underwood is co-hosting the Country Music Association Awards with Brad Paisley this November.
