It's a film that's getting rave reviews and picking up big honours, among them best screenplay at the Golden Globes and five Academy Award nominations.

But among the accolades for Spike Jonze's hit Her — a film about a man who falls in love with the computer-generated character in his phone — is high praise for the film's best original score, which was created by Arcade Fire and favourite Canadian indie artist Owen Pallett.

Already the group landed a best score award from the Chicago, San Diego, St. Louis and Georgia film critics' associations, and Pallett and Arcade Fire's Will Butler are up for an Academy Award.
