(This will serve as the show post for CBC Radio 3 w/ Grant Lawrence for Tuesday June 25).
• 7,000-plus kilometres.
• 15 bands.
• 11 moose.
• Six provinces.
• One really freaky doll.
Over the course of the last month, ever since the CBC Beetle left Vancouver for Toronto, I have been tossed in a Rocky Mountain river by Shred Kelly, white-hatted by Theo Fleury (not a euphemism), s'mored by Library Voices and mountie'd by Hawksley Workman, among many, many other adventures.
On Friday June 14, the CBC Beetle finally crossed the finish line at CBC Toronto. It was a red carpet affair but, as you'll see, my feet never even actually touched that red carpet.
It was a heck of a finale. Toronto band the Darcys absolutely rocked it, fans packed it and we even had a trophy case to show off all the weird and wonderful souvenirs of Canada we picked up along the way.
We hope you enjoy this finale video of the CBC Beetle Roadtrip Sessions.
A huge thanks to our CBC Beetle Roadtrip team: director Brent Hodge; editor Josh Huculiak; road manager Brian Cauley; project manager Bryan Ward; producer Talia Schlanger; executive producer Kai Black; and to Volkswagen Canada for making it all possible.
Thanks to you for following along on our journey, and here's hoping the CBC Beetle Roadtrip Sessions inspired you to get out there and experience our great country and its incredible musicians.
What was your favourite CBC Beetle video? How could the CBC Beetle Roadtrip have been better? What could we have done differently?

When you're done, be sure to check out the CBC Beetle Roadtrip Sessions grand finale featuring the Darcys' photo gallery.
