43 years after his death, Jimi Hendrix has a new album, released on March 5. People, Hell & Angels is a collection of songs the legendary guitarist recorded in 1968 and '69 without the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Instead, Hendrix teamed up with a group of his friends, including Buffalo Springfield's Stephen Stills and Electric Flag's Buddy Miles. The 12 tracks are produced by Hendrix's '60s-era engineer Eddie Kramer, Hendrix's sister Janie and Hendrix expert John McDermott
CBC Music is streaming People, Hell & Angels for 24 hours only, until the end of day March 4. After that you can pick it up on Amazon and iTunes. Play it on the player below.
