This Dec. 24 and 25, CBC Music takes over the airwaves on both CBC Radio One and Radio 2. We'll supply the soundtrack for your holidays, whether you're hitting the highway to visit loved ones, chilling at home or letting loose with a gang of rowdy friends.

For 12 days in December, CBC Music released amazing video of exclusive holiday performances. At the end of the 12 days, Canadians had their very own CBC Music Christmas playlist. (Now you can hear all 12 songs.) This Christmas Eve, celebrate the holiday with a wide range of artists including Royal Wood, Gord Bamford, Michael Kaeshammer, the Barenaked Ladies, Moist, Walk Off the Earth and Nikki Yanofsky.

34th annual CBC Christmas Sing-In

The 34th annual CBC Christmas Sing-In from Montreal celebrates the season with your favourite Christmas tunes, featuring thrilling performances by the choir of the Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul, the Sing-In Brass, organist Jonathan Oldengarm, conductor Jordan de Souza and 1,500 carollers singing along.

Join Tempo host Julie Nesrallah for a hearth-warming mix of classic holiday music including pieces from Luciano Pavarotti, Tchaikovsky and the Spiritus Chamber Choir.

Handel’s Messiah

This Christmas you'll hear Handel's beloved masterpiece in a live concert recording from Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal. It has a chamber music feel: intimate and warm, the music uplifting. Kent Nagano directs the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and Chorus featuring soloists Dominique Labelle, Daniel Taylor, Michael Schade and Tyler Duncan.
