In celebration of identical twin duo Tegan and Sara's new album Heartthrob, which is streaming live now on CBC Music, we're declaring today Twin Day on CBC Radio 3.

All day, hosts Craig Norris, Grant Lawrence and Lana Gay will be playing "twin spins" of the various Canadian indie artists we realize have a frightening resemblance to various famous celebrities.

Click through the gallery above and have a look, and let us know: who is your celebrity twin? And what do you think of Heartthrob in its entirety?

Let us know by commenting on our blog, or tweeting @cbcradio3, and listen to our live stream to hear the conversation and the twin spins all day long.

LISTEN

Listen live to CBC Radio 3.

My celebrity twin is Daniel Stern. Who from his body of work as a whole is cool. However I am often called MARV by students of mine for my likeness to his most famous role in Home Alone.  :( I just wish I had his voice, man he was good in The Wonder Years.

Although I don't agree with this one (I am not blonde, don't have hollywood teeth, just to name a few), I have been told I look somewhat like Kirsten Dunst. I would completely shrug it off, but I have had some really odd encounters with Japanese tourists over the years, but only Japanese tourists. Weird.

@124th Street - Your story about encounters bring to memory another blogger we haven't seen on the blog in a while. MyNameisMoe is born and raised in P.E.I. She will likely strangle you if you suggest she bears any resemblance to Anne of Green Gables. She has had Japaneses tourists ask her to pose for pictures because they think she resemble Anne.

That would suck, especially being from PEI and probably being sick of good ol' Anne as it is! I never got to the picture stage, just a lot of giggling, staring and pointing and a lot of confusion on my part on why people were staring, giggling and pointing at me.

you guys are aware the new Bad Religion album is streaming over on the "rock" page, right? It's pretty damn good. Reminiscent of Stranger Than Fiction, vaguely. More straight forward than Maps Of Hell and all their other "more recent" albums, which were good but not 100% the Bad Religion I love. True North, is more along those lines.
