Tommy Power you  said it "all" this a.m...when you  acknowledged thatPeter Togni  was a 'savant' when it comes to classical music.. the breadth of the man’s knowledge is truly wonderful… but  you know what else Tommy boy...you and stupid Julie Nasrella really should give a listen to the old master… Peter unlike the two of you has found the magic elixir for radio listener satisfaction….that is...."LESS IS MORE"...the two of you jabber on and until I  feel that I will  hyperventilate or scream… when do you ever come up for air I ask myself....so bad switching  the dial is my last resort to forestall the onset of a major migraine....only mercy..is that neither of you has reached all time low that CBCRADIO@  succumbs to o when the mic is passed over to that airhead Tom Allen at 1 pm...what a piece of work he is....i muse...how do people like Allen cream at  CBC ...how this cretin could rise to the level of his own  ineptitude is beyond me...he ranks among the worst radio hosts in over 40 years of my listening to the station...I pray to the gods to send us back Bob Kerr at the first syllable uttered by Tom Allen some symphony players and i were chatting at a campout last weekend  about quality of CBC radio programming and one who has  held the first chair as violist for well on 20 years said it so well..."CBC has succeeded in "dumbing down the whole classical music repetoire' in the process of which they have drove audiophiles like moi to find refuge on the excellent programming that comes from Sirius Radio selections on RADIOTIME ...ie. Radio Suisse Classique and 101.5 Classic FM...to name two...it's sublime listening to real  professionals who inform and educate and engage you on air... footnoting the reall essence of what is being  presented...now that's real radio as I have grown to enjoy it... i don't want to contract ulcers while listening to my radio...pulleeez..........enuf!
