It's been quite the year for Saskatoon's the Sheepdogs. Last August, they became the first unsigned band to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone, they snagged three Junos for their album Learn & Burn and the single "I Don't Know," were signed by Atlantic Records and got Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney to produce their major label debut. That album, The Sheepdogs, arrives on Sept. 4, and the first single is already making the rounds. You can listen to "The Way It Is" now, which premiered today on Rolling Stone's website.
