Before the hard-working Canadian singer-songwriter enjoyed the limelight of his Juno wins for his most-recent album Oh Fortune, Dan Mangan had the idea to present the album in listening-party fashion: in front of an audience, played top to bottom, with no applause in between.
Naturally, we were only too happy to play host for the occasion.
Hear the enhanced live rendition of Oh Fortune (complete with special guests and performances of favourite Mangan tunes from previous albums) by listening on Concerts on Demand, or by tuning in to CBC Radio 2 on July 19th.
