Corb Lund will be releasing his seventh disc, Cabin Fever, on Aug. 14 to eagerly awaiting fans. CBC Music will be leading the charge with all things Corb Lund as the street date approaches.
On May 1, Lund and his band, the Hurtin’ Albertans, played a sneak peek show for an intimate audience at the Arden Theatre in St. Albert, Alta. That concert will become a TV show, to be aired Sept. 1, a radio concert on Canada Live on Aug. 16 and exclusive videos available only at CBC Music.
Cabin Fever is a two-disc set defining two sides of Lund. One disc is heavier, electric versions of the material; disc two is all the same songs in an acoustic setting. The first video to hit the web is “Gettin' Down On the Mountain.” It is pure Lund, cowboy-poet, rural-philosopher political science major, studying at the school of life..
