Each day, Rich Terfry and Radio 2 Drive wraps up your day with music and stories about the interesting things going on in the world. Now, you can follow along at home. Here are the stories we're talking about today.
JUNK IN THE TRUNK
Not only have we discovered the Cutest Thing Ever, we've discoverd the FIFTY Cutest Things Ever. Make sure you have a box of tissues nearby. The first of 50 is a cat pushing a kitten in a miniature grocery cart. Enough said.
There's a new release today that's more than just music. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have a new track called "Same Love," released in partnership with the Music for Marriage Equality campaign and Sub Pop records. Take in the new track, check out a bunch of videos, and learn something about the campaign while you're at it.
There is little in this world seen as more manly than throwing things at other things. Of course, the better the through, the more manly the accomplishment. Which is why it's so much fun to watch men throw with the wrong hand.
Pancakes are great, we can pretty much all agree on that. But are pancakes difficult? A lot of folks would say "no". But forget those naysayers. There's a pancake maker on the market that takes all of the (minimal) effort of pancakes, and makes a machine do it. Instant pancakes just got a bit quicker.
"Don't judge a book by its cover". You've heard that countless times. But how do we know if that's just talk? Finally, book covers have been put to the test to see if they are appropriate to judge a book by. Naturally, an adult may be jaded with previous knowledge of some of these classics. Therefore, a 6-year old gave her account of what some classic covers suggested about the books they protect.
And, in unrelated news, the best archery shot of all time:
