Do you want a chance to spend a weekend (July 6 and 7, 2012) at the Montreal International Jazz Festival (flights and hotel paid for)? With your favourite “plus one” and a pair of tickets to concerts with Norah Jones, John Pizzarelli, Cedar Walton and the Rat Pack Is Back?
Of course you do. And now’s your chance – just enter CBC Music and Tonic's Montreal International Jazz Festival contest.
Here’s how: fill in the form below, and choose your "ultimate jazz instrument." As an option, you can also tell us why your instrument is top jazz dog.
The Contest is NOW CLOSED. Brandon Dallamore is the lucky winner. His pick for the ultimate jazz instrument was piano, because "A great jazz pianist can cover so many notes, in chaos and rhythm, or just the ones they need to get the music across. Love the piano in jazz!"
CBC Tonic host Tim Tamashiro will closely watch the results to see which instrument is out in front, and play music on the show responding to the survey results. We’ll also share your stories online and on air.
But remember, to enter all you have to do is check off one of the instruments, and give us your name, email and daytime phone number.
