Montreal's noir-pop darlings Stars have announced details for their sixth studio album, The North.
Recorded at Montreal's RCA Victor Studios, The North will be available on Sept. 4. The album's first track, "The Theory of Relativity," made its broadcast debut on CBC's Q this morning, and you can download it now at starsthenorth.com.

Produced by Marcus Paquin and Graham Lessard, The North is the Stars' first full-length release since 2010's The Five Ghosts, which was longlisted for the 2011 Polaris Music Prize.
