Feist seemed genuinely shocked when she accepted the award for artist of the year. In all, she walked away with three new Junos – artist of the year, adult alternative album and music DVD – to add to her eight other Juno statues. Vish Khanna, CBC Music's Hip-Hop community producer and a host on the rock stream got a chance to talk to Feist backstage about her wins, her upcoming split 7-inch with Mastodon and what’s next on her calendar.

Deadmau5 has had an impressive year − performing at the Grammys with the Foo Fighters, getting in a Twitter war with Madonna and generally getting his name shared all around the world. But this year, he was shut out from a winning streak at the Junos for dance recording of the year. Deadmau5 didn't mind losing to Dragonette but losing to Justin Bieber was another story.

After Dragonette’s modest, disbelieving victory speech for their upset victory, they were still in a state of shock backstage.

Terri Clark admits that she was surprised and impressed by some of the songwriters like Dan Mangan and Max Kerman who joined her in the Juno Songwriters' Circle. She hadn’t heard of them before but pledges to search them out on iTunes sometime soon.

After a hardworking weekend, best new artist nominee Lindi Ortega finally exhales and talks about starting out at similar songwriters' circles in Toronto.

Kiran Ahluwalia and Rez Abbasi talked about taking home the Juno for world music album of the year, and taking part in the Songwriters' Circle.

Songwriter of the year Dallas Green was gracious in accepting his award, saying it’s important to accept an award and then move on. Vish Khanna got a chance to talk to him about songwriting, throat lozenges and trying to take honey out of Australia.
