By the time all the 2012 Juno Awards had been handed out Sunday night, Feist emerged as the year's biggest winner. The Canadian singer-songwriter took a trio of awards in Ottawa — artist, adult alternative album and music DVD of the year — and delivered a well-received performance of her song "The Bad In Each Other" from her album Metals.

Feist was among a few big name acts to win Sunday night. Stratford-born pop phenom Justin Bieber won the fan choice award, while the album of year went to another pop star, Michael Bublé, for his holiday-themed Christmas.

Despite the big names, several emerging acts were feted as well, including Saskatoon rockers the Sheepdogs, who won a trio of awards, and Vancouver singer-songwriter Dan Mangan, who went home with a pair of Junos.
