The 2012 Juno Awards take place on April 1st. Canadians often describe the Junos as “Canada’s Grammys” when speaking to non-Canadians. Here are some more Canadian music translations. When using these in a sentence, be sure to use “kind of like,” as in “Chantal Kreviazuk and Raine Maida are kind of like Canada’s Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale.”
