It used to be that East Coasters headed west doen the road to Toronto but these days (well the last 20 years) you head a little further west - Fort Mac, Edmonton, Calgary, Regina...

Here's a song that is sort of a trailer for the Classic Canadian tale "Going Down The Road" a 1970 movie about a couple of Capers who head to The Big Smoke. It's kind of impossible to find anything on youtube about this movie, but it's a beauty.

They're actually talking about the Metro Reference Library, not any old library location, and you can't actually check anything out of Metro Reference, so having a card is moot. It's gorgeous inside though.
