Canadian R&B singer Melanie Fiona accepted two Grammy awards on Sunday for her hit duet "Fool For You" with Cee Lo Green. Three out of four R&B categories were handed out in the pre-telecast, while Best R&B album was awarded at the big show. When the winner was announced for Best traditional R&B performance, presenter Jimmy Jam was prepared to accept the award on behalf of the absent Cee Lo Green, but stopped himself when he saw Fiona running towards the stage. She joked when she got to the microphone that it's tricky running in a gown.

“Whitney Houston, I would not be standing up here if it was not for you — God bless you,” said Fiona in her acceptance speech.  She also sent a shout out to Toronto.

Moments later, she was back on stage accepting for Best R&B song.  The second time, she sent a message to her nieces watching at home — Auntie Mel won two Grammys, not Grannys.
