Yes. Hello. It's me, Craig. Not my co-host, Tom Power.
You see, Thomas J. Power (I think the "J" is for "Juniper") is a busy fellow. Not only does he host CBC Radio 2 Morning and Deep Roots, he's also in a musical songs group called The Dardanelles.
He's also smack dab in the middle of moving from St. John's, Newfoundland to Toronto, Ontario. So, forgive him if he doesn't have the time to (bother to) write his own blog post.
I'm kidding..I'm kidding...
If I may be permitted a moment of sincerity, Thomas Jetson Power and I not just colleagues, we've become pals. At least, that's what I tell people to seem like a big wheel.
You'll hear how and why in today's show. And hey, how about this for a blog query: What advice can you impart to Thomas Jekyll Power on his move to Toronto?
STOP THE PRESSES!! Thomas Jay-Z Power sent this along at the eleventh hour:
It's a real honour to cross over into Radio 3 to sit in with my good buddy Craig Norris. I only really hang out with him so I can drink his whiskey and so more ladies will talk to me, but that's okay because he only hangs out with me to appear more "regional".
Anyway, I tried to fit in as many Newfoundland bands as I could, and I think I did okay - so if you want to hear some bands from the place the Globe and Mail called "the best place to hear live music in Canada" then...you should probably listen to University of Regina radio or something. Also, I'll be on the blog and only answering to "Hoops".
