I can’t say enough good things about this new LP by Scuba aka Paul Rose. Personality is album number three from the U.K. producer and founder of the influential and consistently high quality Hotflush Recordings. It’s a departure from the serious quality of his previous releases. Like the sun blazing out from the album cover, summertime grooves and big-room dynamics are all over its 11 tracks. In these days of grey non-winter in Toronto, we all need a bit of sunshine and Personality delivers.
