Calgary's favourite flock of eclectic troubadours Woodpigeon come to roost on Radio 3 with "For Paolo."
Known for their deep, communal folk-leaning pop, this track is no exception. Mark Hamilton's hushed vocals lead the procession of swelling strings, shimmering guitars and soothing keys.
Like a Chinook in the middle of a cold Albertan winter, the warm and dulcet tones of "For Paolo" are a welcome respite any time of the year.
