John K. Samson's "When I Write My Master's Thesis" from his latest album Provincial was Most Thumbed Up over the last week right here on CBC Music. Which means a) you like it and b) yes, we do pay attention every time you thumb up a song.

I'm over here at the cbcmusic site.... I caved in and decided to give it a try.

I don't like it here.

The one thing I've always liked about the ceeb, is that it doesn't have advertisements. That is the primary reason I listen here instead of at a station like, say The Peak. The R3 community is rad too, but the best part is that the music is streamed ad-free.

What do I find over here at cbcmusic? I find a bombardment of advertisements.

I'll stay in the basement until I;m kicked out.

I am writing my Master's thesis right now. However, I refuse to go to the library because I can't play CBC Radio 3 as loud as I want. From one 'pegger to another, thanks John K. for not allowing to procrastinate. Don't worry, I'll be sure to hang this degree on my bathroom wall next to the first one.

Jason (Feb 14), the rationale being used is that it'll generate revenue which will be used to pay artists* for tunes played** here; that's what we've been told, I have no idea about figures...
