It takes serious cajones to be a two piece band - a stage looks pretty empty when there's only two people on it, and one of them is stuck behind a drum kit. But Toronto's Army Girls, like all the best two pieces, use their limitations as an excuse to jettison all excess weight and crank out lean tunes that are as energetic and varied as any of their peers.
Led by Carmen Elle's double threat awesome singing and badass guitar playing, "The Power" is three and a half minutes of energy and vitality, a fantastic kick off song from a band who promise great things still to come.
