I don’t usually root for box sets at the Grammy Awards — let alone purchase or even pay that much attention to box sets in general —  but the nod by the Recording Academy to composer Danny Elfman and director Tim Burton’s 25th Anniversary Music Box has me rooting. It also has me reflecting on how much amazing stuff they’ve worked on together. Here are just seven impressive collaborations.

1. Pee-Wee's Big Adventure: "Breakfast Machine"

 2. Batman:  "Batman to the Rescue"

3. Beetlejuice: "Opening Theme"

4. Edward Scissorhands: "Ice Dance"

5. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: "Veruca Salt Song"

What are some of your favorute Danny Elfman/Tim Burton moments? Feeling stuck? Here's a comprehensive list of Elfman's film credits.
