While Santa is racing through the skies tonight, delivering gifts, there is one Canadian who is not to be outdone. Racing past even higher up, astronaut Chris Hadfield is in the International Space Station and he's sent down a little Christmas cheer to all the good little boys and girls on planet Earth.
Here's Commander Hadfield performing "Jewel in the Night." The song was written by his brother and is about observing Christmas from orbit. Have a listen.
This isn't the only music you can expect from Hadfield. He's at work on a song with Ed Robertson of the Barenaked Ladies that will become the first song to premiere from space this February. Keep watching the skies!
