Just in time for the holiday season, Grammy Award-winning singer Sarah McLachlan is releasing a new single and video, “Find Your Voice,” and CBC Music wants to give you a chance to hear it first.

Recorded over three days with Pierre Marchand, a longtime collaborator who’s worked with McLachlan on such hits as “Building a Mystery” and “Fumbling Towards Ecstasy,” the new track features background vocals from students of the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, who you can see in the video above.
In the true spirit of giving, the song is available for free at SarahMcLachlan.com, but you can also choose to make a donation to the school, which provides opportunities for at-risk youth to learn music.
“Christmas is a difficult time for many both economically and emotionally and I hope this gift of music can help in some small way,” McLachlan said in a press release. “My holiday wish is that we can all find the good in everyone and in every situation and be kind to each other. I wish you all a very happy, peaceful holiday filled with love, laughter and light.”
As of Nov. 28, “Find Your Voice” will be available on SarahMcLachlan.com and the school's website, with 100 per cent of any donations going to the good cause.
