Brasstronaut's mashup of a name is actually an accurate description of how they sound. Yes, there is brass, and there is the musical space they explore, such as that which lies between jazz, indie and pop. The song "bounce" that you'll hear in this session was commissioned by CBC specifically for Signalfest 2011 a festival of contemporary music hosted by The Signal on CBC Radio 2.
