On stage with Arkells, Dan Griffin always seems busy, dividing his attention between keyboards and backing vocals. Stars & Satellites, the first track from his latest solo release Leave Your Love, finds him in a calmer place. It's a hushed acoustic meditation centered around images of growing up and going home again.
Arkells fans could be forgiven for wondering when the drums are going to come in, but by the time the song has drifted to it's conclusion it's clear that Griffin has his sights set on gentler things.
