If there is one thing that sets Corb Lund apart from other country musicians it is where he has come from musically. Corb wasn't always a finger pickin' cowboy, in fact his first band The Smalls were a prog-metal band. Some might say Corb Lund is the original "cow punk" - a style of musician unqiue to the Canadian praries.

I had no idea that corb lund played in a metal band! Also, it looks like the hat from "horse soldier" is hanging on the wall in the pipe smoking picture. I love the music!!
