Morning all. If you haven't heard by now, CBC Television, CTV and Global Television are collaborating to produce Canada for Haiti, a one-hour, commercial-free special for Haitian relief, airing tonight at 7:00 PM EST. This precedes the George Clooney-helmed telethon, Hope for Haiti Now. If you're able, please consider donating funds to organizations like the Red Cross and Partners in Health.

And now, back to something completely trivial. The What'cha Readin' Book Club resumes normally in February. On today's show, I'd like to hear about your favourite film adaptations of books. The top three pitches each win a copy of the new Alanna Nash tell-all, Baby, Let's Play House: Elvis Presley and the Women Who Loved Him, courtesy of the fine people at Harper Collins. You can post your pitches here but I'd also like you to e-mail them to me at vish_khanna@cbcradio3.com with your mailing address.

From the top three, I'm going to pick one film and ask you all to watch it before next Friday morning when we'll have a live, online chat about it on the blog. Okay? Any questions?

What is your favourite film adaptation of a book and why?
