As I lay around on my couch excited by new episodes of 30 Rock and The Real Housewives of New Jersey, it warms me to know that bands are busy writing and recording and giving me something to do on my show every Friday. If I haven't said it before, indie musicians of Canada - thanks!
I close off the working week with a show I call Fresh Friday; this is where you get to hear all the songs being added to the Radio 3 playlist. It's always quite fun to look up these new bands and hear these songs and imagine all of you finding some new faves, like maybe Vancouver's All the Days, or some old faves trying some new tricks like Jay Malinowski of Bedouin Soundclash and The Dojo Workhorse featuring a bunch of Dudes.
