After seeing Avatar last weekend I couldn't but wonder if seeing the raping of the natural world and the mistreatment of indigenous people would result in some heavy re-thinking for fillmgoers. After all, this is now the second biggest money making film of all time, so a lot of eyes have sat behind those 3D glasses.
I'm an optimist, it seems, even after Pochahontas and how ever many other stories that come out on this same subject. And I remain optimistic that Haiti may in fact feel a flood of good will soon for those web inhabitants who can't avoid the devastation in words, pictures and sounds.
