With about a month until the Olympics, Vancouver is rolling out its transportation
plan. Vancouverites are preparing for road closures,
Olympic lanes, pedestrian corridors and a predicted 1-2 hour wait time to get
on public transit. Oh yeah, and it rains
approximately 116mm during the month of February, umbrellas galore!
Today I’m starting my patience plan. I figure I have about a
month to increase my ability to endure delays, waiting and slowdowns without
losing my cool. I’m moving into the slow
lanes, walking behind the elderly and letting people go ahead of me in lineups
(when I’m not running late…heh).
Are you patient? What are your tactics for keeping your
cool??
