Happy 2010 to you, faithful listeners! I want to start off by pointing out that the photograph up there is not of me! I wish I were that dashing! No, that photograph is of Mr. New Year's Eve himself, one of the greatest Canadian musicians that ever lived, Guy Lomardo, taken from us 32 short years ago.
I like to carry on Mr. Lombardo's tradition of properly ringing in the New Year with a program filled to the rafters with some of my friends.
Besides a musical tribute to the legendary Hoagy Carmichael, I'll be joined by acting greats Lyle Waggoner and Jim Boyd, the always lovely Barbara Eden, and for the teens, Peter Tork from The Monkees group!
