If you like it, buy it! That's our motto here at CBC Radio 3. Okay, I'll level with you, It isn't actually our motto, but it was just a catchy way of starting off a post about how you can now purchase tracks you like wherever you see an iTunes button next to a track.
We're hugely happy with this development, as it allows you to support your friendly neighbourhood emerging artist. We've had a lot of requests from both artists and music fans for buy links and one of the only reasons CBC Radio 3 exists is to support Canadian music, so this is a great 'win, win, win.' And yes, in the spirit of full disclosure, as part of Apple's affiliate program, we'll make a little pizza money for the effort, 5% per sale to be exact.
We realize that not all artists are on iTunes, so if you are a musician, and you want to include a buy button on your page, please send a request toindiescanada@apple.com, and they'll help you out!
