A sweet voice and style in this tune that hints maybe Faye Blais is Sudbury's piano-plunking answer to Feist.

She's blazing across Canada right now, so keep your eyes peeled for her Cherry Pickin' Tour that will take her out of Ontario and into all four western provinces and down into the States as well. I also notice from her site that she's about to finally release a new album this spring.

This tune, Something's Changed, is from her 2008 recording Two Pieces and it's a delectable little morsel for your ears.

Beautiful! That song just kept giving any moment I expected it to slow down.

Thanks. Maybe next time the oblivious will actually catch her show in town instead of figuring it all out three days late!

I was entranced from the second of seeing this post, by her crazy great eyes.

But then I listened to the song and was captivated by the music. Sounds like English Coeur de pirate to me. Which is perfect.

Thanks you two! I admit, I actually found Faye almost a year ago on the site, but kind of forgot to use her as a Track of the Day until I saw her tour dates...which I guess is a good thing! I've never met her but she seems positively delightful in email.
