Over the past few weeks I have been working on a extra top secret project which has had me in the depths of our music database searching for musical gems and while seraching I happened upon Guelph's boy-girl duo Memoryhouse. They make washed out, electro music with reverb soaked vocals (think Memory Tapes, think Beach House... put them together Memoryhouse) reminiscent of the chillwave craze in the states this summer.
I love their sound and it looks like some pretty impressive blogs have picked up on them as well. Gorilla vs Bear wrote about them yesterday, and they've been featured on Pitchfork three times this week.
