Yes, you read that correctly. Many times we have reported on tour bus break-ins, trailer break-ns, or van break-ins on tour. We have NEVER reported on an entire tour bus being stolen.
This morning, when the Dears left their Montreal homes expecting to board their tour bus for their first gig of their North American tour (which starts tonight at the Mod Club in Toronto), to their shock, their massive tour bus was gone.
Thieves had unhitched and left the trailer (which was empty) and smashed a window to gain entry to the bus. So, if you see a very large tour bus with a broken window cruising around, be sure to get in touch with the Dears immediately....
In the meantime, the show will go ahead as planned tonight, at the Mod Club in Toronto. Doors are at 7pm.
