VOTE NOW. VOTE OFTEN

Venue:
Call The Office

Location:
London, ON

How Long has the Club Been Open:
Since 1870 or so. As a live Music club, let’s call it 30 years?

Why It Should Win Searchlight:
We’re building a mantel for our first trophy.

Five Of The Best Bands That Have Played Your Club:

Best or most popular, as they are definitely different animals. Best: Rocket From The Crypt, The Constantines, Danko Jones, Hellacopters, Buck 65

One Of The Most Memorable Moments:
It’s a tie between giving a cigar chomping Frank Black directions to dinner, Bernie Worrell launching into Burning Down The House, a 73 year old Link Wray making everyone’s ears ring, and watching Radiohead dance in the club to Tubeway Army.

A Little-Known Fact About Your Club:
In the 60’s was home to The Nihilist Spasm Band, and we are allegedly haunted by a dead hooker.

Your Secret To Success:
Too stubborn to quit or change our ways.

What You Would Do To Celebrate If You Win:
Send handwritten apologies to everyone I hassled to vote for us. And buy you all a beer.
