At 11am ET Monday morning, an hour considered ungodly by most
musicians, CBC Radio 3’s own Grant Lawrence along with 2007 Polaris winner,
Patrick Watson, unveiled the shortlist for the 2008 POLARIS PRIZE. Standing in front of Canada’s leading musical artists and industry at
the Drake Hotel in Toronto - and broadcasting to
the rest of Canada
via CBCRadio3.com – Grant revealed the ten hopeful Canadian indie
artists who hope to win the $20,000 prize.
