When I started The R3-30 Podcast, I had only one mission. Actually, it was more of a dream than a mission. I guess, technically, it was more of an aspiration than a dream.

Whatever.

All I really wanted to do - besides weekly bringing you the ultimate cross-section of Canadian Indie Musc - was to instruct and fuel your curiousity with my own love of geography. Just think how Miss South Carolina Teen USA's life would have been different if she had given more thought to our woeful lack of geographical knowledge. Sure, more access to maps could help, but I think this week's R3-30 Podcast should be required listening for anyone who's thinking of a career in geography.

Whatever those careers may be.

BTW, I totally remember the C.U.C.U.M.B.E.R. club!! None of my friends seem to remember it though. Does that make me old?

When I heard the list, it took me back to Grade 9. Mainly the comment on the Adidas bag. We all had them back then - I think it's about time they came back. Along with the Kodiaks of course!

heck yes!

I graduate with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies, Geography in about four weeks time. Since geography is everything, it can really lead you anywhere career-wise, not just to a classroom.
=D

can't wait 'til I can actually afford to be distracted by the podcast.

All I can say is when I looked at the comments in the high school year book (Cawthra Park Drama Program Alumni!!!!) I was shocked as a few comments were hidden in the ad pages. References to stripping and travel were mentioned!!!! Travel became an actual reality for me over 10years now. Music with an Indie edge also has become a reality due to it!!!! Believe it not "The Birkman Report" a personnel hiring tool lists high creative ability and travel agent go figure!!!! Check it out!!!!
