Hi there,

I'm Heiko, the new radio 3 summer intern. I am really excited; so excited that I woke up extra early this morning and ironed my shirt. Grabbed my skateboard and headed out the door.

A skytrain ride and three cups of coffee later and I'm blogging from inside the CBC. As I stare at the screen trying to look like I know what I am doing, I hear familiar voices all around me talking about today's show.

It's wild, it's like seeing and hearing how sausages are made. Not that I think radio 3 is anything like a sausage. It's more like the farm the sausage grew up on. A nice farm. I hope I will grow while I am here too... but not into a sausage.

From one previous intern to another... it's going to be a fantastic summer!
For the making of the sausage, if you ever figure out the secret let me know, cause I'm still trying to figure out how it's all packag'd up so tightly. You think you know what goes inside and then boom! they've got spicy mustard sausages on the menu.

When Grant vacated the desk you now sit in, I did feel a little lonely, but I couldn't have asked for a better new neighbour.
