I love soccer. Did I mention that already? I love it so much I'm part of a
World Cup Soccer Panel on
Homerun, the local CBC Radio One afternoon show.
This morning I invited
Bande À Part's podcasters,
Alexandre Bernard and
Alexandre Courteau (affectionately known as
Alex B and
Alex C, they even have t-shirts with a B and a C), to come watch the
Portugal - Mexico game with me in the heart of the Plateau neighbourhood, which happens to have a very high concentration of Montrealers of Portuguese descent.
Well the boys finally showed up 30 minutes late (this isn't baseball guys!) with sound tech and ace photographer
Alexandre Leclerc (a third Alex, yes) and joined me to record tomorrow's podcast (download in
mp3 or in
m4u). Portugal took Mexico 2 to 1 and the usual celebrations engulfed St-Laurent.
Did I mention I love soccer? Well I do. I do. I do. I do. Uh... soccer chant... just ignore me...
