1982. I can remember exactly what I was doing that year, and it involved a lot of hockey, since that was the year the Vancouver Canucks made their first-ever trip to the Stanley Cup Finals.

I also remember walking around and singing an Adam Ant song a lot that year called "Goodie Two Shoes".

CBC Radio One host and former platinum-selling musician Jian Ghomeshi has just released 1982, his debut book, a memoir chonicling a year in his life that he spent obsessing over David Bowie and a girl named Wendy.
