There's a good chance you've encountered some impressive players at your local gear shop, but Alex Chadwick brings showboating to an entirely new level. The guitarist and Chicago Music Exchange sales manager recently played 100 legendary rock riffs in one thirteen minute long take. If that wasn't enough to impress you, he played them in chronological order: From Chet' Atkins's 1953 chart-topper "Mr. Sandman" to St. Vincent's 2011 hit, "Cruel".
The way these riffs blend together make this video a rock n' roll masterpiece. If you have some time this long weekend, try to identify as may of the riffs as you can without looking at the captions.
You can check out a full list of all 100 riffs at the Chicago Music Exchange website.
